Welcome to Real World Careers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform and services operated by Advanced Learning Academy. By accessing or using Real World Careers, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using any feature of Real World Careers, you represent that:

• You are at least 16 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• All information you provide is accurate and truthful

2. Service Description

Real World Careers provides:

• Cognitive Job Matching: Brain-based job recommendations using the Parker Brain Alignment Index
• Real World IQ Integration: Access to cognitive assessment measuring 6 brain regions
• Job Search Platform: Access to aggregated job listings from multiple sources
• Employer Credentials: Verified cognitive credentials for Elite members
• Career Intelligence: Personalized recommendations based on cognitive profile

3. Membership Tiers and Pricing

Career Starter (Premium)

• Price: $149 (one-time payment)
• Includes: FREE Real World IQ test (value $99), 25 brain-matched job listings, 6-month access

Career Professional (Elite)

• Price: $199 (one-time payment)
• Includes: FREE Real World IQ test (value $99), unlimited brain-matched jobs, verified credential, 12-month access

4. Real World IQ Assessment

Your purchase includes one complimentary Real World IQ assessment:

• The assessment takes approximately 30 minutes
• Results measure cognitive function across 6 brain regions
• You must complete the assessment to unlock brain-matched job search
• Assessment results are valid for the duration of your membership
• You may retake the assessment for an additional fee

Assessment Integrity: You agree to complete the assessment honestly and without assistance. Results obtained through dishonest means may result in account termination without refund.

5. Refund Policy

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase if:

• You have not yet completed the Real World IQ assessment
• You have not accessed more than 5 job listings
• You have not generated an employer credential (Elite only)

No Refunds After:

• 7 days from purchase date
• Completing the Real World IQ assessment
• Generating an employer verification credential
• Accessing more than 25 job listings

To Request a Refund: Email [email protected] within 7 days with your order number. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.

6. User Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

Account Sharing: Your account is for personal use only. Sharing login credentials or transferring access to others is prohibited and may result in account termination.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Real World Careers to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from our platform using automated means
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our algorithms
• Share or resell access to other users
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with the platform's operation or security
• Use the service for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

8. Job Listings Disclaimer

Third-Party Content: Job listings are aggregated from external sources (USAJobs, Adzuna, Jooble, Arbeitnow). We do not:

• Guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of job postings
• Control hiring decisions or employment outcomes
• Represent employers or endorse specific companies
• Guarantee interviews, offers, or employment

Due Diligence: Always research employers independently before applying. Report suspicious listings to [email protected]

9. Cognitive Matching Accuracy

Our Parker Brain Alignment Index uses scientifically validated methods, but:

• Brain match scores are predictive, not guaranteed outcomes
• Cognitive fit is one factor among many in job success
• Results should be used as guidance, not absolute determinations
• Individual results may vary based on assessment performance

No Employment Guarantee: Real World Careers does not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, or specific salary outcomes.

10. Employer Credentials (Elite Tier)

Elite members receive employer verification credentials:

• Credentials are valid for the duration of your membership
• Employers can verify your cognitive match through our secure portal
• Credentials cannot be transferred or shared
• We do not guarantee that employers will use or accept credentials
• Misrepresenting credential information may result in account termination

11. Intellectual Property

All content, algorithms, and materials on Real World Careers are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws:

• Parker Brain Alignment Index: Proprietary algorithm owned by Advanced Learning Academy
• Real World Careers: Trademark of Advanced Learning Academy
• Platform Content: Designs, text, graphics, logos owned by us or licensors

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

12. Membership Duration and Renewal

Premium (6 Months)

Access ends 6 months after purchase. No automatic renewal. You must repurchase to continue access.

Elite (12 Months)

Access ends 12 months after purchase. No automatic renewal. Employer credentials remain valid for membership duration only.

Grace Period: We provide a 7-day grace period after expiration to renew without losing your Real World IQ data.

13. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• You abuse our platform or support resources
• You share your account with others
• We detect suspicious or automated activity

No Refund: Terminations for Terms violations do not qualify for refunds.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Real World Careers is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service
• We are not responsible for third-party job listings or employer actions
• We do not guarantee platform availability or error-free operation

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Advanced Learning Academy from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of Real World Careers
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any misrepresentation of your credentials to employers

16. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Binding Arbitration: Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, not in court.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Advanced Learning Academy is registered.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective:

• Immediately for new users
• 30 days after notification for existing users

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your membership and request a prorated refund.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
